The acids that we ingest in our daily diets through the consumption of high acid foods – fruit, juices, wine, soft drinks – can cause acid erosion.
Tooth enamel is the white, mineral-rich protective layer that covers the outside of our teeth.
In the process, the acids soften the tooth enamel, weakening the tooth’s protective layer and making the tooth surface more vulnerable to abrasive and abrasive influences.
Nowadays, acid erosion has become a serious problem due to the consumption of high-acid foods and drinks.
